Hello! My name is Allison Cole, I am an artist living and working out of a small bungalow in Providence, Rhode Island. I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2003 with a BFA in Printmaking. I love mint Milano cookies, hanging out with my husband and two cats, screen printing, and collecting comic books and vinyl records. I am also a former Art Director, having been one for a Rhode Island-based publication for the past several years. So, all you Art Directors out there: I have a thorough appreciation for the ins and outs of your day-to-day job complexities! I currently dedicate my hours to full-time freelance illustration, participating in gallery shows, teaching, drawing comics, and creating cute and fun things for my Etsy shop. In 2004 my first full-length graphic novel, Never Ending Summer, was published by Alternative Comics. My illustration work is represented by Lilla Rogers Studio, who are some of the most wonderful people in the world to work with. To read a mini-interview with me, you can check it out here on the Lilla Rogers site. |
